Perform essential project management tasks with the Project Manager to support project direction and completion.
Prepare and attend interviews for future projects as directed by Senior Management. Preconstruction phase duties include creating bidders lists, developing bid packages,
and conducting scope reviews; preparing bid documents and issuing them to subcontractors; ensuring competitive bidding per company policies; evaluating bids,
reviewing trade contractor scopes, conducting value engineering, and developing Owner/GMP contract amendments.
Construction phase responsibilities include providing leadership and support; maintaining relationships with the project team, including the owner, design
team, subcontractors, and vendors; participating in risk management, administrative project management, developing agreements, resolving scope disputes, supporting budget monitoring,
cost documentation, and change management; attending meetings and recording documentation; managing the project filing system; establishing directories and document distribution lists;
and preparing Client Monthly Reports. Lead the submittal/procurement process, including receiving, logging, processing, and distributing submittals; organize and maintain the Procore
system; develop a master submittal registry and procurement log, coordinating lead times; follow up on rejected submittals; review submittal impacts on procurement; provide and review
open submittal logs; coordinate approved submittals with other trades; manage materials and submittals for mockups; track potential costs from submittal reviews; review product deliveries
for compliance; and provide an open submittal and procurement log for the monthly report.
Lead the RFI process, including receiving, logging, processing, and distributing RFIs; ensure all relevant trades are included in RFI responses; review RFIs with the team;
follow up on RFIs; assess RFIs’ impact on procurement; provide and review open RFI logs; address issues related to unanswered RFIs; track potential costs from RFI reviews; and provide an open
RFI log for the monthly report. Coordinate document controls and drawing markups; distribute, log, and update drawings, RFIs, ASIs, PRs, Bulletins, SKs, and other documents; maintain logs for
project correspondence, RFIs, Design Team Sketches, Supplemental Instructions, Proposal Requests, Bulletins, and other documents.
Coordinate materials testing and inspections with the lead superintendent, ensuring all third-party inspection items are accounted for; log and organize testing reports and
special inspections; coordinate distribution with subcontractors, the Owner, Design Team, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction; track open items and deficiencies to ensure timely completion and closeout.
Collaborate with the lead superintendent on third-party inspection items; log and organize testing reports; coordinate distribution with all relevant parties; track open items and
deficiencies. Coordinate Certified Payrolls/MEURs/Workforce activities, implementing and overseeing field staff’s tracking of daily manpower; coordinate Procore reporting with certified payrolls, maintain
logs, provide trades with notices of deficiencies; coordinate certified payrolls and monthly utilization reports, ensuring workforce goals are tracked; access consultant reports and coordinate deficiency
notices; provide certified payroll and workforce logs to the PM/APM for the monthly report.
Coordinate project closeout by organizing and maintaining the master punch list, observations, and rolling completion list; assemble closeout documents like O&Ms, warranties, as-builts,
product literature; coordinate attic stock quantities and locations; and schedule Owner training.
Protect and promote the interests of Nutmeg Planners and maintain confidentiality in all matters. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade contractors.
Travel Requirements: Position requires daily travel to unanticipated project sites within the city of Hartford, Connecticut.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field with 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or related occupation.

• Master’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field with no experience.
